Activity 7: A random story

• Why use it? past simple, stories, fairy tales.
• Who it's best for: Children 8-11 years old.

Explanation and objectives:

The point of this activity is to practice writing in an oral and collaborative way.

Materials:

• Not needed.

Instructions:

• The students and the teacher sit in a circle. 
• The first student has to say only a word to start the story. For example: 
• Student 1: Once
• Student 2: upon 
• Student 3: a 
• Student 4: time
• Make as many rounds to see how ends up the story they create.
