The purpose is to encourage students to describe simple objects such as toys using size and colour adjectives.
Materials:
- Toy cards/pictures or real toys.
- Teacher starts showing a card, poster or a physical toy.
- Teacher describes the object using size and colour adjectives. For example: "This is my favourite toy, it is a big red car".
- Teacher shows 3 or 4 allowing students to repeat what is said.
- Now, teacher asks each student about their favourite toy.
- Finally teacher shows 3 or 4 pictures and the students have to describe them without the teacher's support. .
