Explanation and objectives:
The purpose of this activity is to invite the learners to talk about their aspirations in the target language.
Materials:
- Cups with candies
- Digital presentation
- Projector
How to do the activity:
- Students work in teams.
- Each team receives a cup filled with candies of different colours (four colours are recommended).
- Each round, students will have to pick one candy from their cup and pay attention to its color.
- The teacher projects the presentation, which contains questions about the topic. In each slide there must be a number of questions equal to the number of colours of candy given in the cups. For example: Red: What would you like to do after finishing school? Blue: What would you like to start doing next year?
- Each round, learners have to answer the questions in the slide. The teacher prepares as many slides as he/she wants.
